I'm sorry to be late so much.
Chapter 3
Question 1
When I face an adversity, I say to myself "I can do it somehow." I try not think it is impossible. I struggled writing 1,500 words essay last week. I keeped my motivation high by thinking that. "It's not only me who is struggling" also cheer me up. If the adversity is so serious that I can't think "I can do it somehow" or something similar to this, I blame myself for lack of ability to resolve the adversity, cry and sleep. When I wake up after that, I'm fine.
Question 2
I say to myself "I can do it somehow" in order not to worry too much. If I'm so depressed because of worrying, I can't be calm and lose motivation. It comes to be possible for me to find solution and to keep struggling by being optimism. Saying to myself "I can do it somehow," "it's not only me who is struggling," crying and sleeping after blaming myself is the way to cheer me up, and these things makes me calm down and gives me objective views to resolve the problem.
Hi Sayaka,
返信削除Thanks for your post. I like what you say about adversity, and how it helps to know you are not the only one struggling. It is also said about adversity that each time with deal with it successfully, it makes us stronger and more capable of greater and greater tasks. In fact, we have a saying in English, "That which does not kill us makes stronger."
